A free program in partnership with Seattle Public Utilities
There is a growing community of individuals in Seattle who are committed to reducing their individual waste. It is critical to approach waste reduction systematically by engaging individuals, small businesses, large corporations, policymakers, and everyone in between if we expect large-scale behavior change to take hold.
Blue Daisi Consulting is a sustainability consulting company for businesses who want to work towards zero waste. We created this program to support Seattle small businesses in creating actionable plans to reduce waste. Each business will walk away from our time together with recommendations for sustainable initiatives to implement that directly correlate with their business goals. They will also receive a toolkit of resources to support them with implementation.
Who can participate in this program?
The businesses we are targeting with this program must have:

Welcome Call. After joining the program, we will coordinate a time to briefly walk you through your next steps and answer any questions you may have.
Creating a Zero Waste Workplace Virtual Workshop. You will join us in a one-hour introductory virtual workshop to guide you through our step-by-step process which is largely informed by the TRUE Zero Waste rating system. TRUE is designed for facilities who want to pursue zero waste goals, reduce their carbon footprint, and support public health. The goal of the TRUE system is to help organizations divert all solid waste from the landfill, incineration, and the environment. The next workshop will be held virtually on Tuesday, April 20th at 11 am PT.
Zero Waste Audit. We will visit your business and conduct a zero waste audit for each business to gather baseline waste data. If an on-site visit is not possible, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Strategy Session. Finally, you will have a virtual strategy session where we will use the data from the zero waste audit to identify opportunities to reduce waste and implement sustainable practices.
